Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary would like to invite you to the Change Summit, hosted in partnership with UNICEF Canada. The Change Summit is a call-to-action in communities across Canada that brings together youth and adults to work together to co-create solutions to improve young people’s sense of belonging. To make our Calgary community a better place to grow up, we need to do it together!
Date: Wednesday, September 25-Thursday, September 26, 2019
Location: Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary, 731 13 Avenue Northeast, Calgary, AB
Do you know any other adults or youth (12+) who might like to attend? Please invite them to register here. Registered youth participants will receive a $75 honoraria for their participation in the Change Summit.
Why are we having a Change Summit?
The Change Summit brings youth and adults together to design solutions to the biggest challenges facing young people in their own communities and in Canada. We want to amplify young people’s voices to influence key decision-makers. We want to build the skills and abilities of children and youth to have greater agency in their own lives and community through human-centred design and inspire young people and adults to work together to design and implement solutions.
