Dogs at Playgrounds

Signal Hill received a couple of inquiries of some Dog Owners who are using playground space (old and new) for their pet’s bathroom duties.   As a friendly reminder to all of us, that Calgary’s bylaws Bylaws related to dogs (calgary.ca)  state “Dogs are not allowed in school grounds, playgrounds, sport fields, golf courses, cemeteries, or wading/swimming areas.”. This is to ensure that there is a clean area for kids to play and interact without the possibility of falling into or rolling in your pets waste.

Please help support our community.  If you see an offender who has any animal in a playground area, please report to City Bylaw officers by calling 311.
