When and why did you move to Signal Hill?

We had a large family and needed to find a larger house. We love the southwest corner of the city and found a beautiful home that suited our needs

Why did you join the SHCA board?

I volunteer on several boards and other activities. I’ve always appreciated that you experience so much more in life as a volunteer. You can make such an impact on Calgary and beyond. I firmly believe that you should anchor your volunteering where you live. Serving on the board allows me to do that.

What is your motivation to stay on the SHCA board?

I love watching people reach their full potential, that includes various board members. As always communities and their nature are in flux. Over the next few years Signal Hill will be a different community. I hope to be a positive part of that process.

What is your favourite activity in Signal Hill or beyond?

Getting together with resident’s for coffee or food by supporting local (in Signal Hill) establishments; while spending time with my family.
