Once a year, Signal Hill, Discovery Ridge, and Springbank Hill share a parking lot, a fleet of City trucks, and a plan. Saturday, June 13, 2026 is the day.

The quick version:

  • Where: Westside King's Church parking lot, SE corner of Springbank Blvd & 69 Street SW
  • When: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (last car accepted 1:45 PM sharp)
  • Cost: free for residents
  • Bring: furniture, appliances, e-waste, scrap metal, donations
  • Don't bring: tires (no recycler confirmed this year), commercial waste, construction debris, hazardous waste

Volunteers: we need 45 people total, 15 from each of the three communities, working one 2-hour shift each. Roles: direct traffic, help people unload, support City workers and vendors, answer questions. Traffic direction is 18+; everything else is all-ages with a parent. Sign up on the cleanup page, it takes a minute.
