We are glad to welcome Lux Windows and Doors as a Signal Hill Community Association Annual Sponsor.

Lux has been making windows and doors in Calgary since 1969. It is still Canadian and family-owned, and everything is made locally. A lot of Signal Hill homes already have Lux windows in them: our neighbourhood turned out to be one of their biggest customer communities this year. So they wanted to give something back, and that starts this week.

The Lux Pumpkin Patch: free pumpkins on Thursday

Lux Pumpkin Patch

Thursday, October 22, 3:30 to 6:30 PM
Signal Hill Community Centre parking lot, 489 Sienna Park Drive SW
Free pumpkins and hot chocolate. Open to everyone, Lux customer or not.

The Lux team will bring their trucks, set up a tent and tables, and hand out pumpkins and hot chocolate. There is no catch and no cost. Just stop by after school or on the way home from work.

The logistics are still being finalized, so if anything changes we will post it here.

Then carve it on Sunday. If you'd like company for the carving, bring the family to our Pumpkin Carving at the Community Centre on Sunday, October 25, 1 to 5 PM. There is a pumpkin for every kid, plus hot chocolate, and BBQ hot dogs for SHCA members. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect.

A free consultation for Signal Hill

Lux offers complimentary consultations on windows and doors. If you've been wondering about drafty windows before winter, or what a replacement would actually involve, ask them, and mention you're from Signal Hill.

A warm welcome to the Lux team, and thank you for backing Signal Hill's events, volunteers and community memberships this year.
