The board is weighing up three specific things for this winter. Rather than guess, we're asking — and publishing the answers as they come in.
Why the long survey is gone
The spring survey ran from April to September and collected 28 responses. It asked which of eleven kinds of event you wanted more of, and the answers came back almost level: kids and family 15, outdoor 14, food 13, cultural 13, adult social 12, Neighbour Day 11, seniors 10, safety 10.
Six categories inside three votes of each other is not a decision. It told us everything is mildly popular and nothing is worth booking a hall for. That's a fault in the question, not in the people who answered it — so we've replaced it with questions specific enough to act on.
And the last one is the real one: if none of this is what you want from your community association, the box at the bottom is where you say so. Good suggestions become the next question on this page, and then the neighbourhood votes on yours.
