This spring, something special happened in our neighbourhood!

For Earth Week, 60 students from the Grade 1 classes of Battalion Park School made and distributed over 700 native wildflower seed bombs across our neighbourhood. That's 700 small, seed-packed balls of soil, each one a promise of flowers for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

As a community association, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to the Grade 1 classes of Battalion Park School. Thank you for your energy, your care, and your leadership. You didn't wait to grow up to make a difference. You showed us that even our youngest neighbours can help our community thrive.
