The City of Calgary's Food Program (part of Climate Adaptation) republished its public food-access resources after a spring 2026 content refresh. Worth bookmarking — and worth sharing with neighbours, family, or anyone you support who needs free or low-cost food supports.

Same information in four formats so it works no matter how someone prefers to find things:

  • Food Access webpage — the landing page. Links to everything below.
  • Calgary Community Food Map — a Google Maps embed showing every resource by location. Lets you filter by distance, plan a route, or pull up transit options. Edit date is on the map description.
  • Resources by Quadrant — a searchable list, easier if you already know the neighbourhood and want to scan keywords.
  • Print-friendly PDFs — one per City quadrant, 8–12 pages each. Republished spring 2026. Good for handing a paper copy to someone who isn't online.
Because the details change, the City asks that you call the organization directly to confirm hours, eligibility, or current programming before visiting or referring someone.

The update was a joint effort with AHS Nutrition Services, Population and Public Health, and the YYC Food Collaborative.
