Who is Nani's Gelato?

"Nani" is the word for grandmother across many South Asian languages, and that's the whole idea: gelato made the way a grandmother would cook — in small batches, from fresh ingredients, every day, with no shortcuts. Founder Parry trained at Wisconsin's Ice Cream Short Course and under an Italian artisanal gelato maker before launching the brand, which started as a food truck and grew into shops and a production facility out east.

What makes their scoop different is the flavour mash-up: they deliberately blend Italian technique with Asian, Indian, and South Asian flavours, so alongside the classics you'll find combinations you won't get from a freezer aisle. Everything is made fresh in small batches, quality over speed.
