On Thursday, June 25, we took over a corner of Lennox Irish Pub and did the one thing we look forward to all year: said a proper thank-you to the volunteers who make Signal Hill run.

The rink floods, the cleanup line-up, the bouncing castles at Neighbour Day, the casino count room that runs past midnight, none of it is paid, and all of it stops without you. So food and the first couple of rounds were on us, and the rest of the night was just neighbours, stories, and a few laughs about whose tent collapsed first.

A visit from our Councillor

We were also glad to welcome Ward 6 City Councillor John Pantazopoulos, who stopped by to say hello and talk through the neighbourhood issues on residents' minds. Thank you, Councillor, for taking the time to sit down with us.
